# Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how **NBS** ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the **Simple Money Flow** mobile application (the "App"), including iPhone and Apple Watch features.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

## 1. Information We Collect

### 1.1 Account Information
Depending on how you sign in, we may collect:
- User ID
- Email address
- Display name
- Authentication provider information (for example Apple, Google, email/password, or anonymous/guest/demo mode)

### 1.2 Financial and App Content
To provide core app functionality, we process data you create in the App, including:
- Transactions (income, expense, saving, payment)
- Recurring payment settings and payment status
- Category/source presets and quick amount presets
- Selected date ranges, locale/currency/theme, and other app preferences

### 1.3 AI Assistant Data
When you use AI Assistant features, we process:
- Your prompts/messages
- Assistant responses
- Tool/action requests triggered by you (for example adding or removing records, changing date filters, or navigating within the app)

We also process minimal AI state metadata (for example cooldown and daily quota counters) to enforce usage rules and safety controls.

### 1.4 Device, Usage, and Diagnostics Data
We may collect technical and analytics data, such as:
- App events and screens viewed
- Device/platform information
- Performance and basic diagnostics data

### 1.5 Advertising Data
If ads are shown in your app experience (for example non-premium mode), ad partners may process ad-related data such as ad request/response information and device identifiers.

On iOS, where required, tracking for personalized advertising is subject to your permission through App Tracking Transparency (ATT).

### 1.6 Apple Watch Data
If you use the Apple Watch companion functionality, summary data and quick expense commands are exchanged between your iPhone app and watch extension to provide watch features.

## 2. How We Use Information

We use information to:
- Provide and operate App features
- Save and sync your data across supported devices/accounts
- Process AI Assistant interactions you initiate
- Improve reliability, security, and performance
- Measure product usage and analytics
- Deliver and measure ads (where applicable)
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies

## 3. Legal Bases (Where Applicable)

Depending on your location, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract (providing app features you request)
- Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement)
- Consent (where required, such as certain tracking/marketing permissions)
- Legal obligation

## 4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share data with service providers that help us run the App, such as:
- Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, App Check, AI features)
- Google Mobile Ads (ad delivery/measurement)
- Apple and Google sign-in providers (when you choose those login methods)

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

## 5. Data Storage, Sync, and Retention

- Data may be stored locally on your device and, if sync is enabled, in cloud infrastructure.
- We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Guest/demo/anonymous experiences may have different retention behavior than fully signed-in accounts.

## 6. Your Choices and Controls

You can:
- Sign out at any time
- Use available guest/demo options (if offered)
- Manage permissions in your device settings
- Disable personalized tracking where applicable via ATT settings
- Request account/data deletion using in-app deletion controls (where available)

If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize data as required by applicable law, subject to legal exceptions.

## 7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

## 8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate legal basis/consent.

## 9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to protect transferred information as required by law.

Third-party services used by the App may have their own privacy policies:

Before submission, ensure App Store Connect "App Privacy" labels match actual behavior in this policy and in-app data flows.

Also ensure your public Privacy Policy URL is reachable without login and is the same policy referenced inside the app.
